Writer’s Edit Founder Helen Scheuerer

This week on the podcast, I’m excited to bring you my interview with Helen Scheuerer, the founding editor of Writer’s Edit, an Australian-based online literary magazine and small press created especially for writers and book lovers. Writer’s Edit is a fantastic online resource which offers advice, inspiration, feedback, friendship and a fresh and engaging platform for emerging authors. It also gives writers the opportunity to have their work published.

Currently, they’re open for submissions for their Short Story and Poem of the Month sections. To submit, simply go to www.writersedit.com/submissions

Helen-Scheuerer-1-for-webIn addition to her work as editor of Writer’s Edit, Helen is also a very busy creative writer. She has a Bachelor of Creative Arts from the University of Wollongong and a Masters in Publishing from The University of Sydney. With work published in the UK as well as Australia, she freelances for a number of websites while she works on her fiction. Helen’s debut novel is due to be published by Inkerman & Blunt in early 2017, and she is currently working on a fantasy trilogy series.

Helen chronicles her writing process, including vlogs, and what she’s currently working on over at www.helenscheuerer.com
