stormandgracecoverKathryn is the author of six novels, including the forthcoming domestic noir novel set in the world of competitive freediving, Storm and Grace, which is due for release early next year.

Her novels have been published internationally and in translation. She’s been nominated for many awards including the Orange Prize (now the Bailey’s Prize), the Scottish Writer of the Year Award, the Edinburgh Critics Awards, the West Australian Premier’s Awards and the KIbble Prize and has won awards in the UK and Australia including the Wingate and the Arts Council of England Writers Award. Kathryn is the director of the Australian Writers Mentoring Program and Program Director for Faber Writing Academy at Allen and Unwin.
